GOLD JEWELLERY
EXCHANGE
· WITHIN 15 DAYS
Can be exchanged with either Gold, Diamond or Precious stone jewellery in original purchase condition within 15 days from date of purchase (in respective country). Only one such exchange will be permitted against an invoice.
· AFTER 15 DAYS
Can be exchanged with either Gold, Diamond or Precious stone jewellery (from any Sona Gold & Diamonds outlet). Stone weight(if any) and MC will be deducted. Standard buying rate on date of exchange shall be applicable. VAT charged will not be repayable.
CASH BUY BACK (N/A)
Standard rate deduction is applicable on prevailing gold rate.
DIAMOND JEWELLERY
EXCHANGE
· WITHIN 15 DAYS
Diamond Jewellery purchased from Sona Gold & Diamonds outlet can be exchanged/returned only within the same country of its purchase within 15 days from the invoice date against Diamond Jewellery without any loss in value. Jewellery should be in original purchase condition. Only one such exchange will be permitted against an invoice. Custom made jewellery cannot be included in this clause.

Against Diamond Jewellery:
Exchange Eligibility:
· You can return the jewellery to any Sona Gold & Diamonds outlet in the GCC region.
· The price for the returned jewellery will be calculated at 80% of the total invoice value (excluding tax).
Full Value Exchange:
· If you purchase a new piece of jewellery and the new invoice value is 50% higher than the original invoice value of the jewellery you're returning, then you will be eligible to get 100% of the value of the old jewellery back.
Against Gold Jewellery:
In case of exchange against diamond jewellery, the valuation of returning stock would be either (a) 70% of total invoice value or (b) 96% of the prevailing gold value + 70% of the prevailing diamond price, whichever (a) or (b) is higher.
PRECIOUS & SEMI-PRECIOUS STONE JEWELLERY
EXCHANGE
· WITHIN 15 DAYS
Policy for ‘Exchange Against Gold Jewellery within 15 days’ applies(Given above).
· AFTER 15 DAYS
Can be exchanged with either Gold, Diamond, Precious or Semiprecious jewellery with the prevailing day’s gold rate applicable for the Gross Weight of the exchanged jewellery. 70% of stone value will be given only on QC approval.
Against Gold Jewellery: Your precious or semiprecious stone jewellery can be exchanged against gold jewellery with the prevailing day’s gold rate applicable for net weight(without stone weight) of your exchanged jewellery.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
LIFE TIME MAINTENANCE : Sona Gold & Diamonds provide free life time maintenance and repair of ornaments in GCC. Any replacement of stones and addition of gold will be charged. NO charges will be levied for any manufacturing defect.
CASH REFUND : No cash refund for Sales Return or Sales Order.
CUSTOMISED JEWELLERY :
Diamonds: Custom made, altered or damaged products will not be covered under the policy given above. Such products will be valued for exchange or cash buy back based on the QC report.
Gold: Custom made or altered products will not be covered under the ‘Exchange within 15 days’ policy given above. Such products will be valued for ‘Exchange after 15 days’ or Cash Buy Back.
EXCHANGE EXCLUSION : Above Exchange policies are not applicable for offer or special promotion products.
PROOF OF PURCHASE : Original invoice/receipt is mandatory. In case of Diamond Jewellery, Original Certificate is also required.
SCRAP JEWELLERY : Exchange will be done on the basis of net weight of gold(excluding stones, dust etc.)
QC REPORT : Exchange or Upgrade Diamond jewellery requires QC testing at our lab to confirm its value and condition. Time needed shall be communicated to customers.
LOYALTY POINTS : Loyalty points issued at the time of purchase will be deducted at the time of return/exchange of the product.
TAXES & DUTIES : All taxes and duties (as applicable) at the time of exchange should be borne by the customer.
DISCRETION OF RIGHTS : Sona Gold & Diamonds reserves the right to exercise discretion in permitting all returns and exchange.
